Philosophy
The name SerpentWise.net is taken from the Biblical addage "be innocent as doves, but wise as serpents." It always stuck out to me that Jesus would ever ask his disciples to be like snakes. Snake equals devil right?
Not here. I take Jesus meaning that in a world of predators, you have to think like one to protect your most precious assets.
As my professors in college would say, "capitalism is mercenary". Profit doesn't really care about people, it only concerns itself with a good return.
It takes snakelike cunning to protect clients' assets from predatory profit. It takes dovelike fairness to charge the right price.
